 EastDell Receives Gold Medal at 2008 Ontario Wine Awards
Our 2006 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay has received a presitgious gold medal in the Oaked Chardonnay Under $20 category at the 2008 Ontario Wine Awards! This year saw a record 69 wineries with a total of 463 wines enter the competition! Winemaker's Tasting Notes: Notes of pineapple and pear highlight the natural, fresh character of our Niagara Chardonnay. The balance comes from the crisp cool-climate growing conditions and light toasty flavours that linger on the palate. A long finish makes this a great food wine. $18.95 per 750mL bottle.
